Apple has unveiled a significant update for Apple Creator Studio, its suite of professional creative applications designed for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Scheduled for release in November, these updates will be provided at no additional cost to active Creator Studio subscribers, bringing major enhancements to all ten apps within the collection.
Video software updates
Following its earlier acquisition of plug-in developer MotionVFX, Apple is integrating those professional video and graphics tools directly into Final Cut Pro without extra charges. Subscribers will gain access to tools specialized in color grading, rotoscoping, tracking, themed templates, titles, and transitions.
Final Cut Pro now features direct cross-app functionality with Pixelmator Pro, allowing editors to modify images inside the timeline and save changes automatically without reimporting files. Additional improvements include expanded keyframe easing options, unconstrained clip placement away from the primary storyline, and support for 23 new transcription languages.

Motion also receives the benefits of the MotionVFX integration, gaining advanced 3D camera tracking, cinematic color grading, and one-click visual effects selection. Furthermore, Motion supports text-driven image generation and editing, a new Displacement filter, and cross-app integration with Pixelmator Pro. Compressor adds support for encoding Cinematic mode video captured on iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo devices.
Pixelmator Pro
Pixelmator Pro introduces advanced artificial intelligence capabilities through its new Generate Fill feature, which executes edits based on text descriptions. The tool analyzes surrounding pixels to match lighting, perspective, and texture for a cohesive result, while built-in Super Resolution technology preserves overall sharpness.
Logic Pro
Apple integrated a new intelligent assistant developed with OpenAI into Logic Pro for Mac to assist with workflow navigation, project refinement, song initiation, and vocal track configuration. The redesigned Browser classifies and analyzes sounds automatically to streamline the search for instruments, effect patches, and loops.

The upgraded Stem Splitter now isolates, replaces, and rebalances individual drum components without requiring original multitracks. Users also gain access to the Sergio George Producer Pack, which supplies authentic Latin jazz and salsa loops, including a full percussion section, brass ensemble, and basses. Additionally, a new Voice Memo Studio Sound feature reduces background noise in iPhone recordings, alongside Liquid Glass UI enhancements for Mac and iPad.
Freeform, Keynote, Numbers, Pages
Apple’s productivity suite incorporates a context-aware intelligent assistant designed to aid in content development across documents. In Keynote, the assistant assists with slide design, while in Pages, it helps refine written material. The Numbers assistant handles data calculation, organization, and visualization, alongside custom table creation and chart recommendations.
The Content Hub now features Apple-curated stock video footage alongside new themes and templates for subscribers. Keynote introduces the open JSON-based Keynote Interchange Format (.keyx) bundle file format, and Freeform gains new text styles alongside forthcoming image editing and shape generation capabilities.
Apple Creator Studio is available for $12.99 per month or $129 per year, with education pricing and Family Sharing support for up to six members. Standalone purchasing options for individual apps remain available on the Mac App Store, while Freeform, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages stay free.
